Over the past 15 years, Nanna Hebsgaard has been dedicated to developing the public sector with a particular focus on innovation and co-creation of core tasks at the municipal and regional levels.
Nanna is passionate about developing societal welfare by bringing together citizens, expertise, volunteerism, research, and political initiative in vision and strategy realization processes on complex issues. In addition to Nanna's ability to constructively highlight citizens' experiences and needs in these types of processes, she always maintains a focus on the strategic and political aspects.With her vast network to top management and policy levels in the public sector, she has access to bring exciting decision-makers together in discussions and debates on complex societal challenges and ideas for solutions to them.
Nanna has been a driving force in the establishment of the National Co-creation Movement, the Co-Creation Arena at Folkemødet and Politikerforum in collaboration with the researchers Professor Eva Sørensen and Professor Jacob Torfing. All initiatives seek to find cross-cutting solutions to complex societal challenges such as health inequalities, climate change and coherent growth.
Nanna is passionate about bringing the competencies, skills and perspectives of different actors into play in good partnerships. With her knowledge in innovation, design thinking and process design, Nanna can contribute with grips and methods to concretize visions and new solutions for concrete experiments and action. Nanna works strength-based with what already works well in practice and has an eye for challenging organizations and their surrounding world to their potential.
Nanna holds an MSc in Psychology and Pedagogy with a focus on educational design. In addition, Nanna has further trained as a project manager, process consultant and studied master's degree in Innovation Management at CBS/DPU. Nanna has published a number of articles and chronicles and is co-author of the books Innovation- 5 Stories from Practice (2016) and Strategy Realization —ACCELERATE YOUR STRATEGY IN 100 DAYS – AN EXECUTIVE GUIDE (2021).
